Party Owls

This card is so cute.  I used the new Woodgrain Embossing folder,  The folder tends to cut through the paper so a tip is to put a piece of Vellum in one side of the folder and adhere it to the folder.  It should eliminate the cuts through the paper.   This card was made from the scrap bin.  It is my first tri-shutter card and it is my favorite.  Shirley commented that this would make a cute Halloween card - to dress up the owls in Halloween Costumes and have them in the tree.  I love it and plan to put her idea into action.

Punch Art

We had a punch art class.  These are 4 of the cards we made.  The fifth card was made using the Owl Punch.  WIll post that separately.

The Peacock is made using the following punches:  Wings - Bird Builder, Body - Ornament, Neck - Word Window, Feathers - Modern Label & Owl Builder, Beak - 5 Petal Flower, Head Feather - Snowflake, Feet - Boho Blossom, Eyes - Owl Bulder and Head 1 1/4" Circle Punch.

Lolly Flowers - Various Circle Punches and Build a Blossom

Panda - I used more of the Big Shot Dies to cut the head and eyes.  Then I believe it as the 2 1/2" circle punch for muzzle, 1" circle punch for nose, 1 1/4" circle punch for the ears, Wide Oval foreyebrows.  The inside eyes was the small oval punch and Owl Builder.

The moose antlers is the leaf # 2 die.  Muzzle is Wide Oval and Owl Builder for nostrils and eyes, Head is the Key Tag, Hair is the Boho blossom, Ears are from the 5 petal punch and word Window for the arms.

Greetings For the Seasons - December

Ashley had an event for her downline and we made a Halloween project, Thanksgiving Project and a Christmas Project.  I took her Christmas Project and expanded it to create two classes.  We had Class One in November and Class Two will be in January.  I am going to post each month separately - starting with December.  This is the one we made at Ashley's.  I changed up the tag so that all tags velcro onto the vase.

Black Friday Card Class

We had a class on Black Friday.  There were two other cards but I do not have them phographed yet.

This card is one of my absolute favorite.  Marilyn brough her bling and spruced up the trees.  So cute!

This side step card was a bit easier as there was not quite as much cutting.  Cute! Cute!

This is a tri-shutter card.  The owl card that we made like this is my favorite. I will find the owl card and post it soon.

Scentsensational Christmas

We had a class in November centered around the stamp set Scent-sational Christmas.  We made cards, tags and I made a few little surprises for them.

I love the Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip together.  And I love the punched trim.  It really offsets the card.  The two cards below are little notecards.  They are quick and easy to make.

Thid is a cute center stair step card.  I love the silver glimmer paper is used for the sparkly stars and clear rhinestones.  So the Sparkly and Bright saying just fit.

I love the mitten card and how they hold the cup of cocoa.  We changed this card up a bit in the class where we added a gumball green punch trim to the top and bottom as we did in the above gingerbread blue and chocolate card.  It really looked great on this card - but I didn't get a picture of it.

Theser were two of the other notecards.

I had a post it note holder at everyones station.  They all turned out so cute.  I want to make a bunch of these real quick and get them mailed off to my collegues.

This was a hot chocolate pack that was really quick and easy to make.  I wanted to have these at everyones station as well but did not get them done so I had everyone make their own.

These were the gift tags that we made and put a minature candy cane in each one for a treat.
