The Free and the Brave 2

This is the second card I made from using this set - again inspired from Katie's Niche. I had a glossy silver paper where I used the Encore silver pad and silver embossing powder to make the dog tags. I used the start punch for the pop out stars. I made these for the farmers market next week.

Ink: Silver, Stazon Black, Close to cocoa, Chocolate Chip (Stars)
Stamp set: The Free and the Brave, Sanded

The Free and the Brave

Working on some patriotic cards this weekend. I like the way this one turned out. I used the water color crayons and am really liking those. That is my favorite way to color now :) I cased this card from Katies Niche.

Stamp Set: The Free and the Brave, Sanded
Paper: Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Ruby Red
Ink: Black Stazon, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Punches Plus Brass Template, Red Organdy Ribbon (Retired), 1/4" White Grosgrain Ribbon, Hodgepodge Hardware, Dimonsionals, Small and Large Star Punch, Water Color Crayons

Independence Day

This is one of the cards we will be making in club this month. I also made some Celebrate cards to have on hand for the Farmers Market as we had inquires as to Patriotic theme cards. Since it will be after the 4th I changed the saying. This was cased from a swap I received at my uplines May regionals.

Altered Clips

These are so easy to make out of your scrap designer series paper. The ribbon dresses them up a little. Makes it hard to go back to old office supplies :)

Table Top Scrapbook - It's A Boy

What a busy week this one. Worked on getting things prepped for the Farmer's Market. It was a great event. This table top scrapbook along with the girl scrapbook went right away. I will make some more for our July 5th booth. This is made from 1/2 a Simply Scrappin Kit.

Welcome Frames

I received a Welcome frame as a door prize almost a year ago. From that time I knew I wanted to make one. I loved the way it looked. I also thought it would be a great name frame as well. So for Father's Day I made my dad one. The Welcome ones will be sold at the Farmer's Market. And if Alicia is reading this - I know what you are thinking... Where is my name frame :)

Color Challenge # 11

So I finally decided to take the plunge and join in Kristina's color challenge. I went back to her blog to grab the picture and realized I used the wrong gray. So not sure if I will redo the cards or not but this is my creation using Basic Gray, Rose Red, So Saffron, Old Olive and Whisper White.

Duckies Wheel

I saw the blue card on SCS made by prchvs and just loved it so had to case it. changed it up just a little. I plan to show my club members how to use the wheel this month and thought we would make this card. I had to make one in pink as well. It is hard to tell from the picture but the pink is on a background of chocolate chip. The brads on the blue one is Night of Navy. I am really wishing that the new catalog brings us Chocolate Chip Brads. The pink one is my favorite.

Birthday Whimsy

This was another card cased from SCS. We used this in class last March as well. I really like all these colors together - Rose Red, Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip. Planning now for next weeks trip so I don't find my self in a stamping rutt :)

Friendship Blooms

This will not be a very productive trip. The card I was working on is not ready to be fully prepped. I am missing some pieces and didn't cut some pieces right so I will need to finish it up later. So I turned to working on some cards using the SAB sets this year. We used this card in a class back in Feb/Mar time frame. Love this card and it is really easy to make. Will put the extra cards in our Farmers Market bin. Can't wait to get home to my papers, cutter and adhesive :) Until then - old pictures...

In The Stars

I am on the road this week and pretty much stayed up all night cutting cardstock for me to make cards while away. My goal is to complete one set a night. Don't know how easy that will be cause I forgot my SNAIL refills so am relying on a glue stick. This is a quick and easy card that I cased from maryloves2stamp. I made 8 of them - 2 in each color.

Carousel Notes Scrapbook Purse

This is the cute scrapbook purse that I made at the ICE weekend. Becky taught the class. It is a really cute idea. It is made with the carousel notes in the mini catalog and the Afternoon Tea DSP and Embrace Life stamp set. I will be so sad to see these In Colors and DSP go.

Bitty Birthday

Working on things to sell at the local farmers market. Made up these 3x3 cards with coordinating box. I have 6 of them done so far. I saw this on SCS by thisissomuchfun. I changed the purse box to the flip top box. I also omitted the strings on the balloons because I didn't like the way I drew them. Off to stamp some more. So much to do - so little time :)

All in the Family

I made this awhile back and it was such a bugger to make. It took hours to complete. I was planning to give this to my brother and his family - but have had a hard time giving it up. Even though it took forever I really like the way it turned out. Thanks Amy.
