A Cardinal Christmas

This year I want to get a jump start on Christmas so I will be holding a card class in July for Christmas Cards. So this weekend I focused on Christmas Cards.

I really like this stamp set. I bought it last year when I saw some really cute treat bags that Terry had made of a boutique. It is one of Shelly's favorites to. I am really going to try and use all of my current Christmas Sets now and then use new ones for the next Christmas Card event.

Baby Containers

My sister-in-law had her baby a week ago. She is so precious. So on my travels this past week Ruby had a cute little baby container filled with little baby items. She used these decorative brads that were shaped as a onsie, stroller and teddy bear. So I bought some of them to try it at home. I will give the girl one to Anu when we do her shower and the boy one for my nephew when he is born - any day now.

Book of Celebrations

Phyllis designed thsi book of Celebrations. The first couple pages of the books list the months where you can write down the day, person and occasion.

The rest of the pages are pockets to put the different types of occasion cards. These are just a few of the pages.

I just love this book. It uses some of my most favorite designer series paper - Parisian Breeze. Great Job Phyllis!!!

Going Going Gone...

With the end of this Stampin Up season quickly coming to end I started going though my retiring stamp sets and found that many of these sets had never been used. So I started getting them mounted and ready to use for the last card class for this catalog.

This card using the Seeing Spots set. I am so sad this set is retiring. It is so versatile

I went to my friends Alicia's house and she had a card using this Snow Burst set. I had not thought about using some of the images for things like fireworks. I also really like the in color combination. She gave me a kit to make and I thought it would make a great addition to this class.

I first bought Morning Soft I thought I would use it a lot. It is a beautiful flower and is great to water color.

This is the Wild About You set. I am so going to miss this set. It is so cute and I love this color combo - chocolate chip, pumpkin pie and so saffron.

The It's A Sign set was a must have for me when it first came out. I had a hard time getting inspired by it but I loved the different signs and sayings. I haven't used many bold brights this year.
This class is being offered on Thursday - June 25th - anytime after 5. E-mail me if you would like to come.
