For November's club projects we played with the pastel chalks and made the following two cards.

For this first card we used the Lovely as a Tree stamp. For this card we first stamped the tree image in Sahara Sand. Then we used Q-Tips to add the pastels all over the tree - trying to make it as ugly as we could. Once the tree is all colored then use the stamp-a-ma-jig to restamp the tree using chocolate chip or basic brown. You need to be sure the line up the image just right - or it will end up looking like a hologram :)

The technique used for this card was popping pastels. The image is first stamped in Versamark and then using sponge daubers and the pastels - dab the color over the image and the Versamark picks up the color. It is a really pretty affect. I love it with this image. When I originally tried it I used a yellow for the dove - but then a couple people used blue for the dove and I liked that so much more.
