Snow Tissue Box Cover

We made this is one of our Christmas Classes in December.  I got the idea on Pinterest.

Supplies Needed:
Box of tissue (I have made a few of these with different brands and they all work)
Two 5 1/8” x 9 1/2” pieces of Real Red cardstock (base)
One 6 9/16” square piece of Real Red cardstock (lid)
Four 4 ¼” x 3/4” pieces of Whisper White cardstock (base layers)
One 4 ¼” square piece of Going Gray cardstock (top layer)
One 4" square piece of Whisper White Cardstock
Four 4 1/4" x 3/4" Silver Glimmer Paper
Whisper White and Silver Glimmer Paper for the Snowflake
Scoring tool
Adhesive (I used sticky strip and snail)
Scissors
Snowflake Die
Framelets - Labels Collection
Big Shot
Embossing folder ( I used the Pointsetta One)
Hearts Border Punch

Assemble Base:
1.  Score the long sides of each of your two 5 1/8” x 9 1/2” pieces of cardstock at 1/2" and 5".

2.  Using sticky strip adhere side “A” on the first piece to side “B” on the second piece. Refer to drawing.
3.  Repeat with other side.  This creates your base.

Assemble Lid:

1.  Score the 6 9/16" square piece of cardstock at 1" along all 4 sides.
2.  Cut each corner on the red lines (up to the scored line) as shown in the drawing below
3.  At this point I layered the Going Gray onto the center of the lid.  Then layer the Whisper White piece on the lid but do not adhere down.
4.  Center the framelit on the lid and fild up one of the sides so that it will git through the Big Shot.  Sorry I did not take pictures of this process.  You need to make sure that the paper is set on the platform just right so all will smoothly run through the big shot.
5.  Remove the Whisper White piece and rerun that through the Big Shot with embossing folder.
6.  Adhere the white piece to the top of the box lining up the Framelit cuts.
7.  Run the four 4 1/4"x3/4" pieces through the Big Shot with the embossing folder.
8.  Using the hearts edgelet punch - edge the four pieces of glimmer paper.
9.  Adhere the edgelets and white edges to the lid sides.
10:  Fold and adhere all four tabs (marked “X” in the drawing) to form the box lid.
11,  Cut out the snowflakes using the glimmer paper.
12.  Put the lid on the box and then put the snowflakes on all four sides.

I love these.  Have since made a Valentine and St. Patrick's Day box.  Pics to come later.

Spooky Bouquet

So a couple of my sidelines won a rosette flower at convention.  I loved them and I had to make some myself.  I had some old DSP and went to working making my Spooky Bouquet.  I absolutely love it!

The filler in the jar is made with Great Northern Beans spray painted black.  The stems are wrapped in a Halloween Lace Ribbon - Retired. I put the rosettes together with hot glue using the new silicone pad from Stampin Up.  It made things so much easier to put together.

Paper:  DSP - Retired Halloween Paper, Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Ink:  Basic Black
Accessories:  Rosette Die, Penant Die, Large Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Retired Halloween Ribbon, Navy Beans, Spray Paint, Vase

Christmas Lodge

I love this set but was debating on getting it as I have so many Christmas Stamps. In the end I decided to get it and am so glad I did. I cased this card from Jan Tink - changing it up slightly. A great card to use up some of those snowflakes :) This was one of the cards for our September Christmas Card Class.

The Sounding Joy # 2

I love the colors of this card (Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla) and how elegant it looks. It uses the quilted satan ribbon and Snow Burst the new textured impression embossing folder.

House of Haunts

My friend Shirley and I were looking through a Stampin Success and we saw this cute little bag with the image stamped on the Wood Sheets. We decided to try it - one with handles and a more manly one without :) This will be one of the projects in the Halloween Stamp Camp.

Halloween Advent Calendar

I saw this project on a 2009 Stampin Success Magazine. I wanted to make it back then but it got put to t he wayside. Going back through the old magazines I saw it again and decided to make it. How fun to have an advent calendar where you can put in little wrapped up candy bars and little notes for fun things to do in October - such as watch a scary movie, carve pumpkins, decorate the house...

Snow Card

This was a card I saw on Ashley's blog last year and made them for a club night. It uses Early Espresso and Crumb Cake. It is embossed with the snowflake envelope and then sponged white fraft over the snowflake images. I love this card. Very classy and very easy :)

Let It Snow

Dave got this card last year for Christmas. I found it recently while packing/unpacking and thought this would make a great stamping up card.

So this is what I came up with. It is embossed with the bigshot with the snowflakes folder. Then the letters are all cut out with the big shot as well. I went to the scrap drawers and found a real red snowflake print paper, then used Night of Navy and some shade of yellow. I think it was Crushed Curry. I was going through some embellishements to find something for the "o" and found these old snowflake brads. And then an old star brad for the "i". There you go - my version of the commericial card :)

Shimmery Gifts of Christmas

I used River Rock, Always Artichoke and Real Red Markers to color the stamp. Once the card was completely assembled I used the White Shimmer Paint to color the dove and used some to highlight around the flower images.

Dasher

I finally got my stamp room moved. I was so missing stamping and spending time sharing with friends. Now that things are moved I will be stamping regularly again :)

I recently did a Christmas Card Class and this was one of the cards that we made. I needed something that was quick and easy as the others were more time consuming. Wew made one in Riding Hood Red and the other in Night of Navy. They turned out great.

Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White

Ink: Night of Navy

Stamps: Dasher

Accessories: Big Shot, Various Ribbons, Dimensionals

Halloween Treats

These are some of the treats that will go into the Halloween Bag. I cannot seem to get the images and text to line up correctly.

This one is made with the matchbox die. Inside is a Reese PB Cup.

I thought I had enough room to put 2 cookies last time I made these but this time I was only getting one to fit.

This is using one of the tag dies for the Big Shot. Inside is wrapped a laughy taffy.

This is the mini milk carton die. I used velco on the bottom so you don't need to tear apart the package to get to goodies inside.

September Banner

This is the 3rd banner from this round. I was looking at this one and struggled with the lettering in that it is hard to read the F on the pattern papper. I need to cut out Chocolate Chip circles to go behind the letters so the word FALL pops.

August Banner

This is the banner for August. It just reminds me of times that are bright and sunny. The new Stampin Up ribbons came out at the perfect time.

July Banner

I really love the way this banner turned out. This is using the Fourth of July stamp set from the current mini. It also uses the new Night of Navy Grosgrain Ribbon and the stripped Real Red ribbon.

A Good Egg Basket

This was the last of the Easter projects using the Big Shot. Used the Good Egg flowers to decorate the basket. This was probably my favorite of the Easter containers.

A Good Egg Box # 2

This was another quick and simple box using the Big Shot and A Good Egg.
