Halloween Treats

This weekend I had the time to start working on some Halloween Treats. I am putting a bunch together and then decide which ones to do for a Halloween Treats class. Here is the first project:

This is a treat bad - similar to the ones I made last Christmas. This one is not my favorite and plan to take this one back to the drawing board.

Flower Daisies

This was made by one of this years Artisian Award winners and I absolutely love it. I want to go try my hand at this project I took several pictures so you can see all the detail. It is using To The Nines DSP and all the Chocolate Chip accents - love the colors.

Build A Bear

Okay - I must admit that when I first saw that Stampin Up was teaming up with Build A Bear - I was not excited and had no intention of buying any of the items. After all - I did not have kids and I didn't think I would really use the stuff. So I did not pre-order any of it.

Then I went to convention...

How cute is this :) It is magnetic paper dolls. What a great idea. And then I started thinking of my niece Izabella. She is 2 and would probably tear these apart but in another couple of months she would probably love to play with the. And who knows - she may surprise me and not tear them up now :) And then there is Emma who is a year and a half and would soon probably enjoy these. So now I have Christmas on the mind for my nieces.

And then here a cute little gift bag that uses the bear embosslet.

I loved the totes so much that I had to go out and get some. Again thinking of Izabella, Emma, Abby and Jayson.
I loved the idea of the little tote and then stamping images so they could color them and putting them in the bag with crayons. Too cute!

And then these cute little Build A Bear cards. How cute to have on had for when you have an occasion for a child.
And then a couple more cute cute gift bags. Love them!!!

So I did the only thing I could do - I went home from convention and ordered the Build A Bear stuff. Still haven't touched them but I have some plans for them - thanks to convention!

Sweet Centers

I love this set. It is so versatile that you can use it with or without the sweet treat cups. I saw the hot air balloon on SCS and loved the color combo. I haven't used the Bravo Burgundy in such a long time.

Stamps: Sweet Centers, On Your Birthday
Paper: Mellow Moss, So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White and Mellow Moss DSP
Ink: Bravo Burgundy and Whisper White
Accessories: Spring Moss 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Large Oval, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch

I also wanted to make a Halloween Card with this stamp set. I had some left over retired DSP that I wanted to use up so came up with this card. I had a hard time centering the black mat on the stamped image due to the Belly Flops but found if you take a 1 3/4" Circle it will fit perfectly on the back sticking ever so slightly to the adhesive so that you can mount the candy part where you would like.

Stamps: Sweet Centers
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Rock-a-billy, Whisper White
Accessories: Kiwi Kiss Stripped Ribbon, Linen Thread, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Sweet Treat Cups and Belly Flops :)
