I would change this one if I had time but I have a flight in a few hours and wanted to make sure I had posts :) I would actually change the egg so it is slanted. It would be cute to put in the wagon as well. Maybe when I get back.

Since I was making gift bags this week I thought I would make one with Sweet Always DSP. I love that paper. It also reminds me of birthdays so I wanted to make a birthday tag with it. I couldn't decide which stamp to use. That I remembered I had the Sizzix Die for Big Bold Cupcakes that I had never used. Great reason to use them. Then I stamped the tissue with Big Bold Cupcakes.

Just Beachy
Just Beachy is a new set that is coming up in the Occasions Mini Catalog. To be honest - I wasn't planning to buy it. I have other beach and fish sets so didn't think I would use it but ended up ordering it anyway. Well the Rainbow Sherbet paper just reminds me of summer and the beach so I was go glad that I had this set. When making gift bags this weekend I had cut my paper wrong so now I had scraps of this piece of Rainbow Sherbet DSP. I had some smaller bags on hand that would work with this paper. Si I designed this Just Beachy Gift Bag. I still had scraps so I decided to make a coorinating card. I left the sentiment off and will add with whatever reason I use the gift bag.

Wild About You
Okay - so I know I said last baby card I posted was the last one for the week - but I had to make one more. For my sister-in-laws baby three different cards were chosen. One for the shower, one for the announcement and one for the rice eating ceremony. She is from Napal and that is one of their traditions. This way she didn't have to choose between her three favorite :)
This was originally designed by Ashley. It was so cute back then that I CASED it. This is the card that was chosen as the announcement. The actual one I showed my SIL was a little different in color and paper and they wanted one more in the pinks and something that stood out - girl. So here is the changed waterfall card.
Stamps: Wild About You, Nursery Necessities, Polka Dot Background and Bundled in Love
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery, Rose Red and So Saffron
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery, Rose Red
Accessories: Rose Red Eyelets, Silver Brad, Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

Game Night
We had a downline training this weekand had three make and take projects. This is one of the projects. I was so excited because I have not yet sat down and played with my game night set and Jackpot DSP. So this was a great start. It is a cute tin that holds your scoring pad. THe tin also holds a pencil, but I did not get that in the picture.

Cheep Talk and Trendy Trees
I saw the following notecards on SCS and had to make them. They were so cute. I had to change the DSP as I had not yet bought the full pack of Good Morning Sunshine DSP. This was also a great way to use some of my scraps. These were so fun to make.
I then needed something to put these cards in. The person who originally made these notecards made this adorable purse holder that I would have made if I had the DSP so I had to come up with something else. Then I thought about Megan and a project that she brought to a meeting this week. It was a little box folder with cards. Way cute. She got the idea off of Ashley's blog so I headed there for the directions. I was then directed to Rochelle's blog. So here is the box. The directions are not quite clear. It sounds like you use an 8x11 piece paper. But really you use a full sheet of paper. Each box has 6 notecards and 6 envelopes. I will make the bags as soon as the paper arrives :)

Last Baby Girl Card - for the week :)

Another Baby Girl Card
I love this card. I CASED it off of SCS. I don't remember who it was off hand. I really like how the duckies are made into a wall hanger for coats, clothes... The bottom of the card looks like a wooden wall. The hanger was not very easy but with some practice I am sure it would look better. If these are mass produced I may also look for small minature hangers instead.
Stamps: My Ones & By Twos, Duckies Wheel
Ink: Stazon Black, So Saffron Marker
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink DSP
Accessories: Pink Taffeta Ribbon, So Saffron Brads, Dimensionals, White Wire, work Window Punch, Oval Punch

Nursery Necessities
I decided to use Nursery Necessities and to make a boy and girl card. I was trying to figure out what colors to use (Trying to get away from Pink and Browns) when it occurred to me - check out the designer series paper section of the catalog. Look at the color combos of the paper and put your card together. I know - common sense but haven't done that before. Usually when I am checking out the designer series paper I plan to use it in a project. Anyway here are the two cards. I do like the little girl one best. Surprisingly cause it does not have chocolate in it :)

By Ones and By Twos
I have been searching for baby card ideas and was browsing Becky's blog where she had a really cute card using Humor in High Heels and Sweet Always DSP. Here is her card:
I thought how cute would that be for a baby card - I would just need to change the image. So I pulled out my By Ones and By Twos cause it had a little onsie that would be perfect for this. This set was in one of last year's mini catalogs and I had never even mounted it. Sad because it is a really cute set. So here is the CASE of Becky's card.
I love the colors and the whole card - but not sure I would really want to make a ton of them. So I decided to change it to a classic layout which may be easier to put together with the elimination of the belly band.

Baby Cards
Okay my kick this week is to work on Baby Cards. There are 3 babies on their way into our family. My sister-in-law wants some ideas for showers and announcements. So I will be posting a lot ob baby cards in the future.
With this card I cased it off SCS but wanted to makke the whole thing with Stampin Up products. I really like how the nestabilities layer but I have not invested in them. then when trying to bet some sort of layer for the sailboat, I still could not quite do it with the Stampin Up Scallops. THe sizes were all off. So I had to turn to using 1 Marvy Punch.
Stamps: Nursery Necessities
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, So Saffron
Paper: Whisper White, Delicate Dots DSP
Accessories: Certainly Celery Ribbon, Buttons - Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery, Dimensionals, Sizzix Circles Die, Marvy Scallop Circle (Green Size)
